Couple Admits Guilt In Child Abuse Case

A Russell County couple has pleaded guilty to charges of assaulting a child. According to Circuit Court records, Adam Mann, age 27, and Sasha Mann, age 24, plead guilty to the charges on Monday. Adam Mann plead guilty to three counts of Criminal Abuse 1st Degree with the Commonwealth recommending a sentence of 8 years on each count to run concurrent for a total sentence of 8 years to serve. Sasha Mann pleaded guilty to Criminal Abuse 2nd Degree with the Commonwealth recommending a sentence of 5 years with 90 days to serve followed by supervised probation. Final sentencing for the couple has been scheduled for March 26th in Russell Circuit Court.
