Alice Courter, age 89, a resident of Fair Oaks Nursing Home, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Russell County Hospital. She is survived by:

- 2 grandchildren
- 3 step-grandchildren
- 7 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at the Mannasmith Funeral Home in Marysville, Ohio. There will be no local visitation. The Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements. The family request that expressions of sympathy be made to the Russell Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund. These can be made at the Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs.
