The Russell County Lakers basketball team opened their season Tuesday night at home against the Lincoln County Patriots. Russell County defeated Lincoln County 72-65. Leading the way offensively for the Lakers was Tyler Robertson (#23) with 29 points, Barton Mann (#10) with 16 points, and Nick Coffey (#44) with 11. The Lakers will be on the road Thursday night, November 29th to take on the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats.
