More than a dozen persons were indicted by the Russell County Grand Jury on Tuesday. According to Circuit Court records the following persons were formally charged with criminal offenses by Grand Jury action:
- Glenn Blair, age 50….Trafficking In Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and with Being a Persistent Felony Offender
- Randy Knight, age 38….Assault 2nd Degree and DUI 2nd offense
- Veldene Beckner, age 74….Abuse or Neglect of an Adult
- Johnathon Roberts, age 44, Jacob Roberts, age 22 and Joshua Roberts, age 27….each charged with two counts of Receiving Stolen Property with Joshua Roberts also being charged with Being aPersistent Felony Offender
- Brian Aker, age 40….Theft By Failure To Make Required Disposition of Property Over $500
- Joshua Jones, age 22 and Matthew Jones, also 22….are each charged with Burglary and Theft
- Harold Shemwell, age 32, and Samuel Luttrell, age 27….are each charged with Receiving Stolen Property and with Being Persistent Felony Offenders
- Eric Kazsuk, age 38, Stephen Popplewell, age 36 and Karl Worley, age 21….are each charged with Flagrant Non-Support of a Child
- Raymond Seagraves, age 61….DUI 4th Offense and Driving While License Is Suspended Due To DUI
