A collision on East Ky. 80 Thursday afternoon sent one man to the local emergency room. Two other persons escaped the wreck unharmed.
RSPD Officer Nathan Bradshaw told WJRS NEWS that William Curt Wilson, 47, of Russell Springs, was eastbound in a 2000 Ford pickup which struck a 2005 Ford pickup that was stopped in the roadway, waiting to make a left turn into the entrance of Hubbard’s Building Supply.
The driver of the second truck, Jeff Hubbard, and his wife Glenna, escaped the collision uninjured. Wilson was taken by ambulance to the Russell County Hospital for treatment of head and other injuries.
That wreck occurred around 1:00 p.m. and remains under investigation.
