This historic season for the Russell County Mighty Laker Football team came to an end on Friday. The Lakers hosted Boyle County in the second round of the class 4-A playoffs. The Lakers fell to the Rebels final score Boyle County 14 Russell County 6. Congratulations to coach Bill Sharp and the Laker Football team on this historic season, and best wishes to the Laker seniors.
