A Russell County woman escaped serious injury when her vehicle struck a calf in the middle of the roadway Monday evening.
Deputy Sheriff Nick Bertram told WJRS NEWS the collision occurred just before 6:30 p.m. on Ky. 1611 in the Ono community.
Amber Hatchell, age 24, of Russell Springs, who is six months pregnant, was transported by the Russell County EMS to the Russell County Hospital where she was treated and later released.
