A Columbia Police Officer has resigned amid allegations of misconduct.
Chief Jason Cross told WJRS NEWS that Bruce McCloud resigned his position as Police Officer on Friday and that the agency is investigating allegations raised earlier this week.
No other details were given. Chief Cross says the City’s police officers are, and will continue to be, held to the highest standard of conduct.
The Police Chief said the investigation is in its early stages and that he will provide more details once the investigation is complete.
