A three vehicle collision on U.S. 127 Friday afternoon in Russell Springs sent a Jamestown woman and two local teens to the Russell County Hospital.  RSPD Asst. Chief Jamie Rogers told WJRS NEWS the incident occured at 3:38 p.m. when a 2005 Hyundai car operated by Kayla Antle, 18, of Russell Springs, was stopped in the southbound lane of U.S. 127 waiting to turn onto Voils Road, when the Antle car was struck from the rear by a 2005 Ford Explorer being driven by Jana Hubbard, 27, of Jamestown.  The impact knocked the Antle car off the roadway and over an embankment, with Hubbard’s SUV then crossing into the northbound lane, side-swiping a 2006 Mazda being driven by Megan Hargis, 17, of Russell Springs.  Antle and Hubbard were transported by the Russell County EMS, Hargis by family members, to the Russell County Hospital for treatment of their injuries, all described as non-life threatening by Asst. Chief Rogers.
