Arrest Made In Connection With Murder Of Tarter Gate Employee; Additional Charges and More Arrest Likely
One person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Wendell “Gleason” Pyles who was shot to death the night of Wednesday, September 26th, while at work at Tarter Gate Company in Dunnville.
KSP Detectives have charged David Salyers, 59, of Elk Horn in Taylor County with Complicity To Commit Murder. Salyers was arrested early Thursday morning and lodged in the Taylor County Regional Jail.
Detectives, Troopers and the KSP Special Response Unit executed a search warrant at Salyer’s residence in rural Taylor County early Thursday morning as part of the ongoing investigation. Items seized during the search warrant are expected to lead to more charges and additional arrests in the near future, according to KSP.
