A mobile home was completely destroyed by fire early Monday morning. The Russell Springs Fire Department was called out shortly after 6:00 a.m. to the Springs Mobile Home Park to the residence of the John Coleman family. Fire Chief H.M. Bottom told WJRS NEWS the Coleman family was inside the home and woke to the smell of smoke and flames. The parents and two children were able to escape the burning mobile home unharmed. The residence was a total loss. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The family lost all personal belongings in the fire and the Russell Springs Fire Department is coordinating assistance for the family.
Clothing needed includes Boy’s 5-T….Girls 4-T….Men’s pants 34 x 32 and large shirts….Women’s 5-7 size pants and large shirts.
