A Jamestown man was treated at the Russell County Hospital following a one vehicle wreck Monday afternoon. Deputy Sheriff Clete McAninch told WJRS NEWS that 48 year old Kermit Wayne Burchett lost control of his 2004 Kia while traveling east on Ky. 619, just outside of Jamestown, resulting in the vehicle leaving the right side of the roadway, striking two trees, then coming back onto the road.
Burchett is believed to have been ejected from the car during the collision. He was transported by ambulance to the local hospital for treatment of various, non-life threatening injuries.
That accident occurred just after 3:30 p.m. Monday and remains under investigation by Deputy McAninch.
