The Russell County Grand Jury met Tuesday for its regular monthly deliberations. The result, indictments returned against eleven individuals on various charges. According to Circuit Court records, the following persons have been charged:
- Gregory A. Thomas, age 30 — Wanton Endangerment, Terroristic Threatening, Disorderly Conduct, and Persistent Felony Offender
- Aaron S. Irvin, age 32 — Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Cultivating Marijuana Over 5 Plants, Possession of Marijuana and Persistent Felony Offender
- Jennifer Irvin, age 30 — Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Cultivating Marijuana Over 5 Plants, and Possession of Marijuana
- Joshua Giles, age 27 — Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Persistent Felony Offender
- Richard Brandon Cade, age 35 — Burglary and Theft By Unlawful Taking
- William K. Harris, age 45 — Burglary (2 counts), Theft By Unlawful Taking and Persistent Felony Offender
- Charlotte A. Miller, age 60 — Fraud or False Statement in Obtaining Benefits Over $100 and Persistent Felony Offender
- Anthony Cook, age 22 — Assault 2nd Degree
- Meredith Weiss, age 41 — Flagrant Non-Support of a Child and Persistent Felony Offender
- Quincy McQueary, age 35 — Flagrant Non-Support of a Child
- Robert L. Smith, age 45 — Flagrant Non-Support of a Child
- Casey Pierce, age 29 — Flagrant Non-Support of a Child
