Walter Lee West, Jr., age 54, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Russell County Hospital. He is survived by:

- Amber Leeann Richards of Georgia
- Adam Jay Richards, United States Air Force
Mother & Step-Father
- Diana & Donald Rexroat, of Russell Springs
Three Brothers
- Eric West & James Dale West, both of Russell Springs
- William Dwayne West of Frankfort
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call for visitation after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of memorial contributions to the Walter Lee West, Jr. Memorial Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
