The Lady Lakers finished 2nd in the 2012 KIT tournament on Saturday. The team shot a total of 331 for its best score of the year, only 2 strokes behind the winning team from Henry Clay.
The KIT had 6 of the top 10 teams in the state and many of the best players were at Lakewood Country Club Saturday. Lydia Gumm won the individual tournament for a record 7th consecutive time.
Russell County had 2 teams in the tournament. Scores for the Lady Lakers: Brianne Coe080, Kenna Richardson-83, Lizzie Loy-83, Ryan Hoover-85, Hailey Aaron-91, Lesley Roy-95, Shelby Robertson-104, Maddie Coffey-107, Destiney Mondie-118, Abbie Coffey-122 and Bethany Mondie 150.
