The Russell County Lakers won their season opener by shutting out the Eagles of Campbellsville High by a score of 51-0. The game was played at Ron Finley Stadium at Campbellsville University as part of the Forcht Bank Bowl. Game stats will be posted here soon. Click on the link below to view game photos. The Lakers will be on-the-road again next Friday, August 24th, at Whitley County High School. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. central time and will be broadcast live on Laker Country, 104.9 fm, WJRS with Josh Branscum and Adam Ellis.
