Lakers Play Bowling Green Monday Night in Region Semis

The Russell County Lakers will take on the Purples of Bowling Green High School at 6:30 Monday night in the semifinals of the 4th regional tournament at Diddle Arena in Bowling Green. The Lakers won the opening round regional game, defeating Barren County by 12. Monday’s game can be heard on Laker Country 104.9 WJRS with pregame activities beginning around 6:15 with John Burdette, Derek Aaron and Jeff Hoover. If the Lakers win, they will play Tuesday night in the regional finals for the first time since advancing to the State Tournament in 1957. Good luck Lakers!!
