The 16th District Boys and Girls basketball tournaments will be held at RCHS starting Monday, February 20th. The Laker boys, 22-5 on the season, will play Metcalfe County Monday night at 7:45. The Lady Lakers, with a record of 14-10, will take on Clinton County Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. All tickets are general admission, there will no advance ticket sales. If you cannot attend, you can hear all the action of Lady Laker and Laker basketball on Laker Country 104.9 fm, WJRS with John Burdette, Derek Aaron, and Jeff Hoover. The girls district championship will be played Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. and the Boys will be played Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
