James W. Sears, age 88, of Russell Springs, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Commonwealth Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by:
Two Children
- Jimmy Sears of Jamestown
- Joyce Hicks of Russell Springs
Two Step-Sons
- Tim Rubbo of Russell Springs
- Tom Rubbo of North Carolina
Two Sisters
- Thelma Weddle and Mildred Girdler, both of Somerset
Other Survivors
- 2 grandchildren
- 1 great-grandchild
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:00 noon at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy. Friends may call for visitation after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs.
