Two persons were arrested near Russell Springs Monday evening on charges of “manufacturing methamphetamine” and “child endangerment”. Russell County Sheriff Larry Bennett told WJRS NEWS that Deputies with his department discovered the “meth lab” at a residence at 731 Old Columbia Road around 5:30 last evening. Deputies found several precursors and two HCL generators used in the manufacturing process along with some recently “cooked meth” both inside and outside the residence. According to Sheriff Bennett….arrested were Michelle Corbin, age 31 and Jeff Bryant, age 27. Both are charged with “Manufacturing Methamphetamine” and “Controlled Substance Endangerment of a Child”. Additionally, Corbin is charged with a misdemeanor offense of “Cultivating Marijuana”. Corbin and Bryant were lodged in the Russell County Jail. The Sheriff says additional arrests are possible as the investigation continues by Deputies Nick Bertram, Clete McAninch and Mark Cromwell. Assisting at the scene last evening were members of a State Police Hazardous Materials team and the Russell Springs Fire Department.
