Laker Boys Will Face Warren Central Wednesday in Region

The Russell County Laker boys, champions of the 16th District, will face Warren Central, district runner-up, in the opening round of the Boys 4th Region tournament, Wednesday night at 8 o’clock, in Diddle Arena on the campus of Western Kentucky University. The Laker boys upset Warren Central in the opening round last year before losing in the semifinals to Franklin-Simpson. Warren Central was defeated Saturday night by the region’s top team, Bowling Green, by three points in the district final.
