The Russell County Lady Laker and Laker boys basketball teams will both play Metcalfe County Friday night in a girl-boy district doubleheader at Laker gym. The Lady Lakers, with a record of 13 and 7, will take on the Lady Hornets of Metcalfe in the first game at 6 o’clock, followed by the boys contest at 7:30. Coach Willie Feldhaus’ team enters the game with a record of 16 and 2. You can listen to play by play coverage of both games with Jeff Hoover, John Burdette, and Derek Aaron, beginning at 5:50 p.m. on Laker Country, 104.9 fm, WJRS.
