Thursday, August 6, 2009 — From the ESPN Radio 1060 Sports Desk….The Russell County Lakers baseball team will celebrate their 2009 season, including winning the 4th Region Championship, when the team holds its awards banquet this Sunday, August 9th at 1:00 p.m. The event will be held in the RCHS cafeteria and all players and their parents are encouraged to attend.
